Dear All, Greetings!
The IQAC Government College of Education (IASE) Srinagar being an vital part of the college works towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement by developing a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in different aspects of functioning of the college.
The IQAC assures the stakeholders i.e., students, parents, teachers, staff, management, and society in general – of the accountability and transparency in the quality management system of the institution and its concern for ensuring quality of education being imparted.
Internal Quality Assurance Cell is a step towards excellence. The IQAC Cell of the College organizes various programmes for faculty, administrative staff and quality circle members. It conducts open forum to provide interface between students and officials of the college.
It conducts staff evaluation to provide valuable feedback for quality nourishment and improvement in teaching, learning and research experiences in the college. It documents and reports various activities of the college for various higher education requirements. A continuous follow up has been made on infrastructural resources of the college to assure adequate, appropriate and better facilities to assure conducive and enabling environment for teaching, learning and research. Through all these measures IQAC happens to be one of the important components of the college which ensures long lasting quality and continuous improvement in all the aspects of the college.

Functions
- Striving for quality as a bench mark for all academic activities of the college.
- Leveraging ICT in teaching, learning and evaluation.
- Collection of feedback from different stakeholders, analysis of feedback and ensuring action taken/follow up.
- Organization of webinar, seminars, FDPs, awareness programs, workshops.
- Documentation of various activities and preparing academic/activity calendar leading to the quality improvement and accountability staff and students.
- Academic auditing for development of quality culture in the college.
- Acting as a nodal agency of the college for coordinating all quality activities and best practices.
- Overlooking the execution of institutional best practices, especially Pedagogies.
- Timely submission of AQARs.
