Department of Education is one of the premier and major department in the Government College of Education Srinagar, established in the year 1937 since inception of college.Under the umbrella of education the college is running teacher education programs i.e B.Ed and M.Ed of 2 years duration spread into 4 semesters and IG B.Ed M.Ed program of 3 year duration.
